More Than A Homeless Shelter
More Than A Homeless Shelter
Whether you need immediate shelter or are on the brink of homelessness, we’re here and ready to help. The Day Center provides a variety of services, including shelter, meals and showers to help you get back on your feet. If you need case management services, call us at 918-583-5588 and ask for a case management screening.
Our case managers work closely with you to help address the issues keeping you from achieving your goals. We have many resources to put you back on a path of independence and want you to feel empowered to overcome homelessness.
The Tulsa Day Center provides case management services for those who need help preventing an eviction. Call 918-948-8400 to find out how we might be able to help.
Our doors are open to all who need help or support.
A limited night shelter is available for at-risk clients who are working with a case manager.
Dinner is served each evening and snacks are provided twice a day. Breakfast is also provided to those who stay in the night shelter.
Unlike most Tulsa homeless shelters, the Tulsa Day Center provides acute medical services at no cost. The clinic is open Monday through Saturday from 9 to 11 a.m. and Tuesday through Thursday from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. All who sign up will be seen during clinic hours.
We are always in need of volunteers with a wide range of skill levels, including RNs to help in our clinic, civic groups and congregations to serve meals, and individuals to assist in our clothing room.
If you’re interested in serving, email our volunteer coordinator to sign up for the next available date. If you prefer to serve a smaller number of people, opportunities are also available at Hudson Villas.
A food handler permit is recommended but not required.
To serve in our clinic, you must be a registered nurse. Otherwise, tell us about your skills, abilities and interests, and we will help you discover the best volunteer opportunities for you.
Donations may be delivered any day of the week between 7:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. at 415 W. Archer.
